Can I Be Forgiven ?

Good Morning Everyone,

I think it is really important to address ourselves
everyday, spiritually. We need to check ourselves
and see if we are right before God.

Sometimes we start on a path by doing one
thing we know is not pleasing to God, and then
we hide from Him. Soon we find ourselves
praying less, hardly reading the Bible, and
perhaps doing even more against what we know
God wants us to do.

Soon, we are far from His heart, and we find
ourselves entrenched in our sins. Ashamed
to face God, and unable to break the bondage
we find ourselves in.

This is called backsliding. You have walked
away from God, deliberately and purposefully.

The good news is, most of us do sometime in
our life and there is a solution. We serve a merciful
God, who says IF WE confess our sins, HE is FAITHFUL
and JUST to forgive our sins and CLEANSE us from
all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9

My friends, this being said, repentance is a important
thing. It means you
1. Recognize your sin, you know you are not living right.
2. Recognize God has rules and concepts for His true
believers to follow, it is not a choice, it is a must
if we want to be a disciple of Christ.
3. Confess those sins to Christ, and if you have hurt
someone confess those to the person you have hurt
and ask forgiveness.
4. Repent of those sins, by turning away from them,
leaving them behind and having a new life in Christ.

Do not think you are hopeless, you are a failure,
there is no hope, that is a lie from satan, the father
of lies, the accuser of the brethren.

Remember the story of the Prodigal Son?
His father welcomed him back with a feast,
new clothes, and a heart of forgiveness.

God will abundantly forgive if you truly confess
those sins, walk away from them, with a heart of
repentance and follow Him.

Remember, once we receive Christ as our Savior,
we are no longer our own! We are bought with
a price -- the blood of Jesus. Live up to that
HIGH calling with a righteous, Godly life, turned
towards Him, by talking to Him often, living by His
word and feeding your spirit with His word daily.

Then go forth and teach the world the gospel of Christ.
Those that preach the gospel must also be a example of it.

You can do it! It starts on your knees with true repentance
to a Father God who loves you and wants to heal and forgive
you.

Love
millie

The Unlocked Door
Author: Robert Strand

In Glasgow, Scotland, a young lady, like a lot of teens today, got tired of
home and the restraints of her parents. The daughter rejected her family's
religious lifestyle and said, "I don't want your God. I give up. I'm leaving!"

She left home, deciding to become a woman of the world. Before long,
however, she was dejected and unable to find a job, so she took to the
streets to sell her body as a prostitute.

The years passed by, her father died, her mother grew older, and the
daughter became more and more entrenched in her way of life. No contact was
made between mother and daughter during these years. The mother, having
heard of her daughter's whereabouts, made her way to the skid-row section
of the city in search of her daughter. She stopped at each of the rescue
missions with a simple request. "Would you allow me to put up this
picture?" It was a picture of the smiling, gray-haired mother with a
handwritten message at the bottom: "I love you still...come home!"

Months went by, and nothing happened. Then one day the daughter wandered
into a rescue mission for a needed meal. She sat absent-mindedly listening
to the service, all the while letting her eyes wander over to the bulletin
board. There she saw the picture and thought, 'Could that be my mother?'
She couldn't wait until the service was over. She stood and went to look.
It was her mother, and there were those words, "I love you still...come
home!" As she stood in front of the picture, she wept. It was too good to
be true.

By this time it was night, but she was so touched by the message that she
started walking home. When she arrived it was early in the morning. She was
afraid and made her way timidly, not really knowing what to do. As she
knocked, the door flew open on its own. She thought someone must have
broken into the house.

Concerned for her mother's safety, the young woman ran to the bedroom and
found her still sleeping. She shook her mother awake and said, "It's me!
It's me! I'm home!"

The mother couldn't believe her eyes. She wiped her tears and they fell
into each other's arms. The daughter said, "I was so worried! The door was
open and I thought someone had broken in!"

The mother replied gently, "No dear. From the day you left, that door has
never been locked."

Jesus is the door to heaven and He is open to your entering in. You much
reach for Him to enter... and He will welcome you with open arms.

Have you entered into the grace and mercy that He so lovingly gives?

"I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go
in and out, and find pasture." - John 10:9
